Projects and Classes
Acellus
To start off, we have a class called Acellus where we learn about a certain topic we chose. I decided to choose French this year. I enjoy learning it. The way it teaches is by showing us a video and answering questions about the video. Every now and then, we have to take a test. I like having this class because once I finish working on French, I can work on things for my other classes.
ChemistryNext, I have Chemistry. In chemistry, we had a project where we made a story about chemical and physical changes. I decided to make a story about a person and a ghost teacher who go on an adventure in the ghost teacher's world, learning about chemical and physical changes along the way. I draw it on each panel on a paper, colored them, cut them out, and glued them together on a larger paper. I used watercolor and sharpie to color it. I had fun doing this project even though it was time consuming. Creating the characters and the story were fun to do. On the side here, it shows the characters I had in the story, but drawn digitally.

Edhesive
Now we have Edhesive again. Just like last year, it is computer science. The difference is is that we are using a website called Scratch to do our work instead of using the other program. Scratch allows you to use coding blocks instead of typing everything out. Even though I don't like coding all that much, Scratch makes it much easier to do. Here is one of my projects: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/424117265 In this assignment, we were supposed to make a project where you allow the code to ask you questions and then repeat your answer and respond.
Geometry
In Geometry, we did a project where we used inductive reasoning to create a short story. We also had to make a cover to go with it. We used a story by Laura Numeroff and Felicia Bond. My story was about giving a rooster seeds. It went like this:
If you give a rooster some seeds, then it will ask for more.
When you get more, he eats it all, leaving none for the other roosters.
When I scold him, he pecks at me, leaving marks everywhere.
When I go to get bandages, he angrily walks the other way.
When I finish bandaging up, I go back outside.
When I go outside, I see the rooster with a new bag of seeds.
When I go to take the bag of seeds, he apologises and helps me open it.
When he opens it, we both spread the seeds for the other roosters and chickens.
When all the roosters and chickens are done eating, I give the rest to him.
Conclusion: If you give a rooster some seeds, then he will help you get more.
